Summary: Berlin, Toshiba, LG Electronics and Philips Electronics is joining together to make  your TV sets to search the internet, play games, and listen to music on line with internet connected to it. For manufacturers to hold back Apple and Google, that also want the TV market, they have to develop a joint operating system because consumers will not accept more than a few competing platforms 

5. Reaction: I think this article is great. How we could do even even more stuff with technology. Technology is a great thing that we have in our country. The way that we could surf the web with our TV's is really amazing. I just hope every TV company can have a part of it.


6. World Impact: This could be big thing for the United States. The problem I got is how is this going to effect the world? The smartphones are beginning to be a big thing mostly the IPhone. And will this help America with their life or will it make them just fall into a black hole??
