This week we learned many things like how we got on the online driver's license and how it taught people about bullying and how it could really hurt somebody. It has really taught some new stuff and how to treat people online now. This week on Sunday I local girl killed herself, because she was getting bullied.
On some of the tests on the online driver's license I learned some facts and wrote them down. Some of y'all are going to be surprised with some of these facts. I know I was.
- Almost 80% of teens own a cell phone.
- About 4 out of 10 teens ages 13 to 17 experienced some type of cyber bullying in the previous year.
- About three-quarters of kids 12-17 say they have helped others while gaming.
We also learned some words this week. The words are:
- Reputation is a general impression held by others the public.
- Persist is to continue on and endure.
- Context is different factors that surround information that help determine its meaning.
- Tag/Caption is not like tagging someone in a photo or a post on Facebook but is words, terms, or a sentence describe photo or videos.
This week we also learned how some people can make photos and put fake stuff on them. There is three photos below. The first one is the original that I found on Flickr (I love Flickr by the way. It is awesome and the pictures are free to use!). The second one is a positive photo that I edited of the original. The third picture is also a picture of the original that I edited of a negative photo I did all of this at magmypic.com.
