Copyrighting on Prezi
This week my class has learned how to use Prezi. Prezi is where you can make a presentation of whatever you want. For us we use it for school work. This week we made a Prezi about copyrighting.There is four types of copyrighting. Creative Common, fair use, copyrighting, and public domain. I didn't realize how bad copyrighting is and that you could get sued or go to jail! The one thing that I don't like about copyrighting is that you have to check everything about it to make sure it is not stolen or anything with "Creative Common" on it you have to ask for permission.
My Prezi for this week I found an awesome video on copyrighting at YouTube. It tells you everything about copyrighting and how to use it safely.
Copyrighting is where you are the owner and nobody else can use it without your permission.
No, I don't think you should use creative work that you found online because you need to ask for permission and you need to give them credit. You wouldn't like it if someone did that to you. Would you?
Can you use creative work that is posted under a "Creative Common license"? Yes but you have to ask permission. What about work that is in the "Public Domain"? Yes, it is for the public and free to use without giving permission.
I love your Prezi it's simple and to the point it helps people that might have reading problems or that are ADD. The video is very funny. I'm sure that anyone that watches that video will laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteThanks I guess I am use to people that has reading problems and I always want stuff that is simple not hard to understand. Also I liked my video and so I put it on my Prezi. I thought it was gonna confuse people but it didn't.
DeleteMy brother is ADHD and my dad and sister have ADD it is really hard having to get them to read. I know my sister would like to read that
